TARABYA HOUSE

Tarabya House, designed by Dilara Kızrak Design Studio, is a continuation of a successful family project completed seven years earlier. The design draws inspiration from the homeowner, a young and active jockey, and his deep passion for nature and animals. Through the use of natural wood textures, warm beige tones, and comfort-oriented solutions, the project creates an eclectic yet cohesive living environment that balances character with a sense of warmth and ease.

Tarabya, Istanbul

Led by interior architect Tuğçe Dilara Kızrak Çelik, the design team introduced bold spatial interventions to unite comfort and functionality. By relocating the existing staircase, the living areas were expanded and circulation was significantly improved.

En-suite bathrooms for each room and smart, architecturally integrated storage solutions ensure a clean, efficient use of space, while bespoke elements such as the pantry room in the kitchen and a custom-designed console in the living room that conceals the air-conditioning system, finished in green lacquer and aqua quartzite marble, add a distinctive character to the interior. Defined by the use of durable, natural materials, the project offers a serene, warm, and nature-oriented yet urban and highly functional living experience that fully reflects the homeowner’s character.
